A Western Australian expat had their week made after discovering Emu Export at Dan Murphy's.
Jeremy Pivot posted a selfie of him with the cartons on Facebook. "How is this even possible? It's beautiful." He proceeded to buy all 10 cartons but was berated by other customers. "No one here is into it, so I don't have to worry about anyone stealing it when I have a few mates over," he said.
'Bush Chook' beer, as named by hardcore fans, is virtually impossible to find in Victoria.
He told The Bendigo Standard "It was the first beer my old man gave me when I was 16."
When Mr Pivot's housemates discovered the beer fridge full of Bush Chook they asked: "What is that shit? We only drink craft beer in Bendigo."
His housemates are planning on evicting him for taking up valuable beer fridge real estate.
