Vline has announced a new minimalist train service. It will replace its trains with Elmore Miniature Railway Trains during the heat restrictions until March 1.
Passengers have been reminded to Slip, Slop, Slap as there is no roof, to 'hold it in' for the whole ride as there will be no bathrooms and bring an umbrella if rain is predicted. The new minimalist train service will only stop at Castlemaine.
Passengers have also been reminded that there will be delays.
Heat restrictions come into force when temperatures hits 36 degrees because the steel tracks can melt.
