Church of Scientology has found a new home at the former Universal Nightclub.
The church purchased the building for an undisclosed sum.
Bendigo religious leaders joined together in front of town hall Monday morning to welcome Scientology into the city. "The Church of Scientology is absolutely welcome from our community. We have a very active commitment to religious expression" said church leaders.
“All people have the freedom to worship. It is not very Bendigo otherwise.”
The Church will open mid-2021.
