Bendigo Council has unveiled its new fountain after a pipe burst on the Napier St upgrade.
A local council spokesperson said "We wanted to give the people of White Hills their own fountain that will that will give the Alexandra Fountain a run for it's money. Who wouldn't be impressed with a fountain that squirts 50 metres high?"
Locals are concerned that their houses may be flooded. "Think of it like a drive by car wash" a council spokesperson said. "Just put on a rain coat if you live near it."
A home owner near the fountain said "At least my garden will get a good watering."
Instead of horses, the fountain will feature construction workers who worked so tirelessly to help build the upgrade.
