A local man was hospitalised overnight after getting a Rapid antigen test stuck in his backside. The man complaining of lower abdominal pain was rushed to Bendigo Health. The mystery was solved by a simple x-ray.

A nurse said "There's an extraordinary demand on the health system at the moment. We don't need this."

The mystery man said "I was tidying up my Pop Vinyl collection. I bent over to pick one up and accidentally fell on the test. I have no idea how that happened. It was a million to one shot" says the man.

A team of proctologists flew up from Melbourne to assist with the extraction.

"The great news is the test was negative," said the doctor.
