The initiative, dubbed Operation Silver Fox, aims to counter the alarming rise of octogenarians getting busy.
“Horny doesn’t retire,” said Bob Cashing from Bendigo Community Health, while handing out a basket of extra-large packets of condoms disguised as Werther’s Originals.
Staff report that hook-ups have become increasingly bizarre, with nursing homes now operating like episodes of Love Island, complete with alliances, late-night rendezvous, and a set of dentures.Experts predict that the initiative could inspire similar programs nationwide, proving once and for all that romance, like a good glass of wine, only improves with age.
